Sue van der Merwe to Retire as CEO of The Lottery Corporation

The Lottery Corporation Limited (ASX: TLC) has announced that Managing Director and CEO, Sue van der Merwe, will retire by the end of calendar year 2025, bringing to a close a distinguished career spanning almost 35 years in the lottery industry.

Sue has been at the helm of TLC since its listing in 2022, leading the business through its transformation into Australia’s leading operator of lottery and Keno games. The Board has already kicked off a comprehensive global search for her successor, considering both internal and external candidates. In the meantime, Ms van der Merwe will remain in her role and work closely with the Board to ensure a smooth and orderly transition.

A Career Worth Celebrating

Reflecting on her decision, Ms van der Merwe said:
